Julia Vandepolder received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Guelph (2009). Her work has exhibited at public and private galleries across Canada, most recently at Studio 21 Fine Art Gallery in Halifax. Solo exhibitions include: Afterglow at Telephone Booth Gallery, Toronto (2013) and Viewpoints at The Al Green Gallery, Toronto (2013). She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 'Elora Arts Council Award' (2014), the 'Ellen Langlands' Memorial Award' (2013) and the 'First Prize Award' at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery's Juried Exhibition (2013). Vandepolder's paintings are in national private and corporate collections, including BMO Financial Group. She lives and works in the Greater Toronto Area.
